Welcome Baby Miller!

So this is a very exciting post for me! I recently did my first ever newborn shoot! I was so lucky to get to meet baby miller when he was only 3 days old. What a beautiful little guy! As it turns out I am not very good at picking out the "best" pictures to edit since I just think this little guy is beautiful and wanted to edit every photo! I was hoping to get all my pictures of baby Miller edited tonight but I am getting sleepy so the rest will have to wait! In the mean time.... take a look at what I have done so far and let me know what you think! I am so excited about Newborns and I am hoping to do more newborn shoots in the future! Yesterday I had an amazing shoot with one of my friends and her son. She wanted to have some pictures of them nursing so we took a bunch of shoots in a natural setting all lit by window light. I know that these pictures are not for everyone and its hard for people who have not nursed to understand but it is just such a special time for mother and baby. Also, it is one of the most natural things we do so why not be proud of it! I think these photos are just beautiful and show the beautiful relationship these two have. So I have about a million other things I should be doing BUT I couldn't help myself this afternoon! I did a tutorial that the amazing Morgan Kervin (http://morgankervin.blogspot.com/) had posted on on editing baby pictures and just had to post the results of my first attempt! Some may say it is "too photoshopped"since I did go a little overboard on the eyes but I like a little photoshop fun once in a while! I took this picture yesterday at my friend's (Jaclyn Doyle - http://jaclyndoyle.wordpress.com/) studio. We were playing around with lighting and baby poses. Her eyes ended up a little intense and there is too much shadow on the left side of her face because of the position of the lighting but I just thought the picture was too cute not to post! Let me know what your thoughts are on the Before and After!
