So this weekend was extremely busy but super fun! Today we had a baby shower for a good friend of mine and yesterday we had my nephew's 2nd birthday! Here is a sneak peak at some of the photos! These ones are all of the birthday boy but there are more to come with has playmates as well!

I had an incredible shoot with three beautiful little ladies yesterday and I just had to post a sneak peak of a few of the shots I got! There were a ton of good ones but these I randomly selected because they were so cute. Ari's hair was full of static and sticking up like crazy and Caitin just had the cutest little look on her face! I also couldn't help but play around in photoshop a bit so I have posted a few different edits! Enjoy!!

So yesterday was soooo much fun! I did a photoshoot with an old friend of mine. We played around with window light and different lenses. We even ventured outside in the freezing cold! I think it was worth it though, the shots turned out really well :) Let me know what you think!

My second post in one day. I am productive today! When I was home on vacation a friend of mine who is a professional photographer (Jaclyn Doyle - http://www.jaclyndoyle.com) lugged all her gear over to my house so that we could practice doing portraits and she could teach me some of her tricks! I used my 50mm and my 18-55mm lens and these are a few of the shots I got!

While I was home on vacation friends of mine moved into their first home. My sister and I wanted to give them something special so we asked my mom for advice. Mom suggested a picture and my sister suggested a picture of their street sign. My sister and I went to their new street and took a bunch of pictures from different angles. I am pretty sure their neighbours thought we were nuts! When I got home I played around in photoshop to give it a cool look. We printed it on 8x10 and put it in a black frame with a white mat. This is what I ended up with.......

So when I was home I got together with a friend who does photography for a living (Jaclyn Doyle - http://www.jaclyndoyle.com) to get some tips for my future projects. It was really fun since she brought her giant softbox and flash. For lighting we played with that and window light. Here are 2 pictures that I took when I was with her :)

So I haven't posted in a while since I was home on vacation. However, I did take a ton of photos when I was home.
